Bring a bear for the Teddy Bear Toss at Feb. 5 Boys Varsity Basketball game

The CVA Key Club and the Athletic Leadership Council are excited to host their annual "Toy Drive and Teddy Bear Toss" on Thursday, Feb. 5 during the Boys Varsity basketball game in the CVA Main Gym. This special event will benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is a nonprofit organization that raises funds for more than 170 children’s hospitals worldwide. Right here at home, miracles happen every day at our local CMN hospital, Mohawk Valley Health System, where local businesses, media partners, students, and community members come together to support children and families in need. Thanks to this support, MVHS is able to fund vital programs, services, equipment, and education that help save and improve the lives of more than 20,000 local children each year.

All donated stuffed animals will be distributed to the MVHS Pediatrics Unit at Wynn Hospital, pediatric doctors’ offices, and the MVHS Children’s Health Center, helping to brighten a child’s day when they need it most.

So grab a new stuffed animal and bring it to the game on Thursday night to support this incredible cause! At halftime of the boys’ basketball game—also Senior Night—we’ll toss our stuffed animals onto the court and fill the gym with toys for local children.
