Free parent night on understanding youth substance use

Catholic Charities of Herkimer County, The Neighborhood Center, and Herkimer County Prevention Council will host a free parent night, "Understanding Youth Substance Use" 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at the Catholic Charities of Herkimer County Training Center, 320 Prospect St, Herkimer.

The event is designed to support families in recognizing the challenges our youth face and provide practical tools for prevention and early intervention.
The evening will feature:

• An informational presentation on the signs of substance use and misuse among adolescents.
• A “Mock Bedroom” exhibit offering a hands-on look at common indicators of hidden substance use.
