Barringer 4th Graders: Coding Party with Marty!

Our brilliant 4th-grade engineers in the LEGO Club at Barringer Elementary didn't just learn to code – they made robots dance! Using Scratch coding, they quickly mastered Marty the robot's intricate components and then tackled the thrilling challenge of choreographing unique dance sequences to make Marty bust a move on the dance floor.

This wasn't a solo act; students thrived in groups, brainstorming and meticulously planning their routines. They collaborated seamlessly to construct their code in the MartyBlocks app, skillfully navigating obstacles and problem-solving together to bring their vision to life. This hands-on activity didn't just introduce them to the exciting world of robotics and coding; it ignited their imaginations and powerfully demonstrated the incredible results of teamwork and collaboration!
