Central Valley honors winter Scholar-Athletes

Central Valley Central School District proudly recognizes those winter sports teams and athletes who earned the New York State Public High School Athletic Association’s Scholar-Athlete distinction. These students have demonstrated excellence in both the classroom and in their sport.

NYSPHSAA sets the following criteria for Scholar-Athletes

• Team Scholar-Athletes: 75 percent of the roster must carry a GPA of 90 or higher
• Individual Scholar-Athletes: must carry a GPA of 90 or higher as part of team that did not qualify for the team recognition

Team Scholar-Athletes

Team members with a GPA of 90 or higher will receive pins.
