Representatives of the Mohawk Valley Rotary Club visited CVA on Tuesday, Apr. 30 to present senior Kara Lewis with the club's community commitment scholarship. The scholarship recognizes Kara for her service to school and community throughout her high school career.

Kara has been a longtime Rotary volunteer, worked the Chamber of Commerce, and volunteered at school. After graduating this June, she plans to attend Mohawk Valley Community College to study psychology.

Rotary members Elyse Enea, Audrey Piccione, and Becky Smith presented Kara with a certificate and check. Kara's mother Michele Hummel and CVA principal Dick Keeler joined the celebration.
